Dynamic Aspects of OPJK Legal Ontology

چکیده
The OPJK (Ontology of Professional Judicial Knowledge) is a legal ontology developed to map questions of junior judges to a set of stored frequently asked questions. In this paper, we investigate dynamic and temporal aspects of one of the SEKT legal ontologies, by subjecting the ontology OPJK to MORE, a multi-version ontologies reasoning System. MORE is based on a temporal logic approach. We show how the temporal logic approach can be used to obtain a better understanding of dynamic and temporal evolution of legal ontologies.

Reasoning with Multi-version Ontologies: Evaluation
EU-IST Integrated Project (IP) IST-2003-506826 SEKT Deliverable D3.5.2(WP3.5) In this document, we present an evaluation of the Multi-version Ontology Reasoning system MORE. The framework of MORE is developed based on a temporal logic approach. We take multiple versions of the legal ontology OPJK, one of the case studies in the SEKT project, as the test data set to test the prototype of the mul...
متن کاملA Legal Ontology Re nement Environmet using a General Ontology
This paper discusses how to construct a legal ontology using a general ontology that has already been developed. In the construction process, we must solve two hard issues. The one is to localize legal contexts in a general ontology in order to extract a legal ontology with a general ontology. The other is to identify bugs in a constructed legal ontology and re ne them. Here is presented a meth...

متن کاملA Legal Ontology Development Environment using a General Ontology
In developing large scale of expert systems, we must build several kinds of knowledge bases and integrate them. If we would build them independently, so much e ort would be done in order to maintain the consistency among them. Because a domain-speci c ontology would present the definition of concepts that often come up in them, it could be so helpful to support the task. As the scale of expert ...
متن کاملDeveloping a BIM-based Spatial Ontology for Semantic Querying of 3D Property Information
With the growing dominance of complex and multi-level urban structures, current cadastral systems, which are often developed based on 2D representations, are not capable of providing unambiguous spatial information about urban properties. Therefore, the concept of 3D cadastre is proposed to support 3D digital representation of land and properties and facilitate the communication of legal owners...
